Or does it, after you'd spent the whole Friday working on your paper and then got too excited about having finally put a full stop at it so you went surfing and chatting till 2am as a celebration ? The answer is that the bio clock is still ticking and you should be happy about it. So I surrendered and got up.

The cupboard was running out of decent food, but no worry, I was prepared. Knowing myself well, it would kill me to crawl a good 400 metres to the bakery on a Saturday morning, I thoughtfully picked a burger at Quick on my way home yesterday, the idea of heating it in a pan had made me laugh. So I swallowed a cheesy LongSunset (1/3 cold) with coffee for my breakfast.

Since I never have time to go to the bank on week days, I decided to take advantage of a free Saturday and pay those lazy people a visit. The reception lady looked charming, but not as helpful as I'd expected. Hi, I demanded a virement earlier this month, but according to my account, it didn't really go through, could you please tell me what's going on ? I handed her the receipt and she turned to the computer. 30 seconds later, Ohh..I'm afraid I can't have details of the operation here for clients from other agencies, sorry. But you're the same bank for christ's sake ! This's how you call The Chain Services ?! So I left the bank, still having no idea when the money would be off my account.

They say distance doesn't stop you to see a friend, although it does make it harder. All of my friends are located to the east of Paris, leaving me alone on the west side. I took a journey to visit Aline this afternoon, it had been a while since the David reunion, both of us missed each other. She was on video call with her boyfriend when I arrived, I used to join them on their dates and became quite acquainted with this guy. She then turned the webcam at me as I stepped into her room.
- Hon, see who's here ! Do you think she gained or lost weight ? (Why this question ?)
- Euuuuh....fatter ? (.....alright.)
- Hey !! How could you call a girl fat ?! (oh com'on..who asked the question at the first place huh..)
I'm already used to this kind of conversation, it's just typical Aline, I was happy that my good friend hadn't changed at all. We had a little chitchat, I insisted that we played Hai Dai Chuan (Seaweed game) before I took off. It's a hilarious game I just learned from zoomy, it seems to be quite popular in the mainland for the moment. The rules are simple, two players stand face to face, they can put hands over the head, in front of the chest or below the hip, one of them say "hai dai ah HAI DAI" and choose his/her position, the other one should choose at the same time a different position, or he/she loses the game. The game is called Seaweed coz both of the player should twist their bodies like a seaweed during the game. Aline and I only played two rounds, she had to prepare for her big speech on Monday, plus we laughed too hard to continue the game.

It was still early when I left Aline's place, time to hit a movie, I suggested myself. The new ciné city in La Defense was my option. There was a Starbucks on my way to the cinema, the ads of their new banana Frappacino caught my full attention, I failed to pass it w/o consuming. The movie was about to start when I finally made it to the entrance with a cup of Frappacino. The girl of the cinema looked at me hesitatingly, I thought she was gonna ask me to show her my card, but it was not her intention. Sorry, you have to finish that before entering the hall. Said she, not looking sorry at all. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ???? It's just a cup of coffee, not a cup of durian !!! Even if it's a load of durian, I DON'T CARE !!! I used to bring sandwichs and yogurt to other cinemas, were people there blind ???? No use to argue with her, I threw the ticket and left, didn't want to swallow a cup of icy coffee over a free movie.

No more mood to wander around, I went to take the metro. It was at there I bumped into Mr Fnac, again. Mr Fnac was the shopping assistant I met last time when I intended to buy an USB antenna at Fnac. He answered bunches of my questions patiently, but only to find at the last moment that the CD-ROM of my laptop no longer worked and the memory wasn't enough to run the programme. Ok, to be honest, I was a little shocked by the price. He tried to talk me into this deal by many solutions, I said I would think about it and then ducked out. Shortly after, he caught me window shopping at the same mall, he'd finished his work and changed the clothes by then. He told me to really think about it and wished me a good evening. I was like...hehehehe ok I will, thanks..and left as quickly I could.

So this was the third time in two weeks, no wonder they are enlarging La Defense, there's a huge chance to get yourself into this kind of awkward situation. He sat down right in front of me, asked me if I'd bought the antenna (eventually), I then repeated my "contraintes techniques".
- No no, there's a new antenna who fits perfectly your situation !
- Oh really ? How much is it ? (Actually I couldn't care less.)
- ....€ (since I couldn't care less, so I don't remember the price he said.)
- mmmm...sounds interesting, I'll think about it. (Magical phrase, works everytime.)
Then we blablahed a little until I got off the metro, luckily I lived only 3 stations away from La Defense.

Spent the whole evening watching FRIENDS for the Nth time but after a longtime, had a good laugh. It's such a life-saver...

So this was my Saturday, a non-typical one though.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-05-28T14:06:37Z</dcterms:modified>

Like a nomad

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-07-15T19:18:18Z</dcterms:modified>

Life style or life challenge ?

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-07-15T19:26:46Z</dcterms:modified>
